| BIFFLE TALKS ABOUT DEALING WITH TEAMMATES DURING CHASE |
|

Greg Biffle asked if the Chase will change how his team interacts with Carl's and Matt's: "Certainly the communication won't dwindle. We will continue to provide information for each other and support. How much you help a guy on the race track might diminish a little bit - not when it's like, 'I'm gonna race the heck out of him. I'm not gonna let him by. He's got a faster car.' Not that, but some of the more obvious things that we'd do like if we saw a guy coming from five car lengths back, we'd just pick a straightway and slow down all at once. Now you might wait until he's a little closer to you to decide, 'Okay, he's there. Let's go ahead and let him go.' It's little things - not like a 180-degree difference and now that we're in the Chase we're enemies - but I think there are slightly different criteria. You don't want to change too much stuff because if I'm expecting him to give me the lane and I'm coming off the corner and he sticks his nose out there and doesn't let me in and turns me into the fence, that's not a good situation. So you still have to have some respect. You can't just change the way you've treated somebody all season all at once." -- Motorsport.com
