LOUDON, N.H. - This page will be updated throughout the day leading up to today's Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The green flag is set to drop at 2:16 p.m.

EYE ON THE SKY: A little mist is falling at the track this morning. The weather forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of rain all day, with temperatures in the mid-60s. Crews are beginning to set up the war wagons on pit road. If for some reason this race is rained out today, the forecast for Monday is similar, if not worse. Live radar can be seen here.

BOWTIE BRIGADE: Current Chevrolet drivers have won 12 of the previous 28 Sprint Cup races here at NHMS. Jeff Burton, the all-time leader, earned all four of his wins in a Ford for Roush Racing. Jeff Gordon has won three times and Jimmie Johnson twice, all in Chevys. Ryan Newman has two wins - one in a Dodge and one in a Ford. Tony Stewart has a pair of victories in Pontiacs. Clint Boywer and Kevin Harvick have driven Chevys to one win apiece. Johnson has not won here since his 2003 sweep.

Kurt Busch, a current Dodge driver, has three victories: one in a Dodge last year for Penske Racing and two in a Roush Ford. His two Roush wins came in his championship-winning 2004 season.

TOOLS FOR VICTORY: East Longmeadow-based Lenox Industrial Tools is once again the title sponsor for this event. Jeff Burton's No. 31 Richard Childress Racing Chevy is sporting the white-and-blue Lenox paint scheme this weekend.

IS JUNIOR DUE?: Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the crowd favorite everywhere the Cup series goes. However, he has yet to give his large contingent of fans a victory to cheer for here at the Magic Mile. Junior's best NHMS finish is third in the 2004 fall race. He only has three other top five finishes here: fourth in June 2007 and fifth in the fall race in 2003 and 2005. Earnhardt starts 20th in the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.

PRERACE FESTIVITIES: Jeremiah the Bullfrog may just be in attendance today, as Three Dog Night performs a prerace concert beginning at 12:30. Lindsey Graham, who was Miss New Hampshire in the 2009 Miss America pageant, will sing the national anthem.  - by Jason Remillard  - www.masslive.com
