Tony Jr aint going no where...there's nothing wrong over there. Now, if he's 25th in points entering the All-Star race, somebodys getting fired...but lets slow down on all of the fire Tony Jr talk. It's like Sly and Frank Stallone...Frank sucks, but Sly still puts him in his movies

as serious as anyone else. they all want to win, thats why they work so hard. JR knows he HAS to win a Championship or he will be looked at like Kyle Petty and Michael Waltrip. I don't think there is ANYTHING in the world more important to him than winning a title. He doesn't care about money...never did. He already has a 500 win, so all he needs is a title to be considered legit...No title...no legitimacy...You win a title, your "too legit to quit baby!"

Jr. wants that championship more then anyone I know. Of course I have to say that, I'm a Jr. fan.
But at what cost will he go through before he wins. No doubt in my mind he will win a championship. Tony Jr. has to go, He cannot make right decissions under pressure. He made too many mistakes last year.
Big Daddy Hendricks will not put up with it either, he hired Jr. to win the championship too. And if it means a Crew Chief change then so be it.
Let's see what happens after Daytona. It will not be good if Jr. loses. |

Rumors again..big sitdown with Rick for the 88 crew.
Nobody wants that job.
Jeff and Tony made a lot of noise about how good Tony Jr was for Jr.....maybe they don't want to lose their crew chief. |

Yeesh is Junior that tempermental? Holy Cow.
But Jeff and Tony really don't want to risk Letarte and Grubb when things are really going well. And Rick Hendrick won't rearrange the teams that much.
I would say "steal Rick Ren from Kevin Harvick". Ren handles Ron Hornaday and Hornaday is just as tempermental as Junior. |

| I'm still not sold on Gustafeson and I don't think that Gustafeson can "manage" Jr.'s temper issues. If Jr. finally comes to the conclusion that everyone else already has then maybe swap the two crew chiefs, but I think that Jr. is going to have the same problems that has plagued Rob Gordon and that is a very ugly temper that not many crew cheifs can manage. |
