CATAWBA, NC (WBTV) - Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was arrested Tuesday night on drug charges and detectives say they found methamphetamine, dozens of guns and nearly $100,000 in stolen goods from his home.

I have had Jeremy on my show twice, and I have talked to him and his wife Shana off the air numerous times. I just find it hard to believe that the Mayfield's are Meth addicts. If they are, they are damn good at hiding it. But, I have heard terrible things about Meth and its evil powers, so you just never know I guess.
Regardless, I just wish Jeremy and Shana the best to either get help and get better...or establish some sort of proof as to their innocence. If this was the 1920's I would easily believe they were set up and this was nothing more than the good ole boy network doing what they do best. But, there is a lot of evidence.
I'm guessing they will say the stuff was planted on their property and the meth was planted by the police when they raided the house. Seems like a stretch, but only Jeremy knows the truth.
