Something is wrong at Richard Childress and it's probably Kevin Harvick.
My picks to miss: I agree on your picks Jeff Burton, Jamie Mac Murrey. Montoya is Chase material (I think if things were smoother at Childress, he'd be in).
Clint Bowyer is hanging in the balance at twelfth. Harvick has become a black hole at Childress, sucking all the resources into his operation. I'm also wondering if Childress isn't distracted with Austin and Ty Dillion's runs.
Denny Hamlin (JGR engine department -Toyota Racing Development is a mess again) won't make it this year.
Logano is not quite Chase material yet.
I think Kasey Kahne will get in there. I'm certain Hendrick is helping Red Bull somehow, someway to return the favor of giving KK a temporary home and get his head back in the game.
Tony Stewart is a big question mark for me. Things are a mess at Stewart Haas and all the drama off-track with some of his drivers in dirt is a distraction. I'm certain Haas was ready to bust his nuts over this season this past weekend. Haas is not a man to be trifled with. I know Ryan will be pushed through, although I'm not certain he will be with Stewart Haas after his contract is up. Newman isn't that chasi
Mark knew he wasn't going to make the Chase. Jeff wants and deserves one or two more Cups. This will be Jeff Gordon's year. Hendrick's wants to repay Jeff for his loyalty and patience over these years. I'm also wondering if he isn't going to get out of the car soon.
