Ryan to the burger king #39, makes more since for him than staying where he is.
Everyone says that it is going to be a struggle for Tony to own his own team, yeah maybe so but...it will be a power house team capable of the chase and and maybe a contender for the cup.
Darian Grubb and Tony Stewart and Chevrolet. Chevrolet said long ago that when JGR went to Toyota that Chevrolet would do what they could to get Tony back. I am assured that Chevrolet had variable factors of interest with Tony and Stewart-Haas.
Alltel will not be sold this year, and it may be as late as after March '09 before any changes are made at the wireless communications network located in Little Rock, to accommodate the sell to Verizon. That is after '09 season starts. Which I understand they will run the Alltel logo for that season and that last season only.
Next probably sponsor ..is Unilever..but maybe not. yes no maybe?
Stremme is not going to have any good luck at Penske, and will do no better than what Ryan has done there already. Meaning no chase for #12 in '09.
Even being a driver with Stewart-Haas and Chevrolet's development with Tony's success there at S/H, has to have a better optimistic look for Ryan. Ryan away from Penske sounds good enough, and in a Chevrolet.
Chevrolet will not let Toyota dominate forever. And besides it is only the WEED doing the winning for Toyota. Yes they 3rd in car manufactorers as of now...
your mileage may vary

why did verizon go with only their colors and not name and call it verizon championship racing on the 12 has me thinking that sometime here soon, say 4-5 months, "who is alltel?" i suppose that some marketing intellectual giant thought hmm, we have a #12 alltohell car out there on the track and the name alltel is no longer valid.
when i first heard of the verizon #12 david stremme car was when i had a link to a website of david stremme standing in front of the cup COT with #12 verizon painted all over it. it was www.verizonchampionshipracing.com. less than a half a day later that website had changed and no longer was david stremme in front of the verizon #12 car...now there is only justin standing in front of the nationwide #12 verizon car.
competition says eating crow may come sooner..
newman should be concerned.
